Thank you so much for being part of my senior year experience! I was absolutely blown away with the quality of the photos you shot. I was not only excited but giddy with joy when I saw that the preview was ready for me to see. I’m not sure what I was expecting but you exceeded all expectations. Along with the beautiful photos, you were also a delight to be with for my session. You were funny and were able to get my real smile by making me laugh. It was an overall joy to go up to Casco and shoot into the luxurious sunset with you! If I got another chance to do it again, I wouldn’t change a thing, it was perfect! My parents both were extremely impressed with the job you’ve done and will be proudly hanging the pictures up. They captured the perfect look to wrap up my senior year and I’m so pleased. So again thank you so much!

Katie is truly wonderful at what she does. She has captured our family throughout many milestones, from a family session, to maternity photos, to the birth of our son, and up to his first birthday. These photos will forever remain in our home. She has a special talent, and provides a comfortable environment during her sessions. She is outgoing, caring and loves getting to know people and their families. We have loved Kate Baker Photography from the beginning, when we first met her during a friend’s wedding. Katie, how can I thank you enough for capturing some of the most special moments of my life. I still remember meeting you at a coffee shop and walking away thinking “I want to be friends with her!” Today I consider myself so lucky to call you that, a friend. When I found out I was pregnant it was a simple decision to have you photograph the next chapter of my life. My maternity session was more fun than I expected, you made me feel beautiful during a time when everything around me was changing. The pictures I told you I didn’t think I would want are some of my favorites – you were right!
When my son Mason was born you were at my house to visit and snap some of the sweetest newborn photos I have ever seen. He changes so quickly and I am greatful to have those photos to look back on. His three month photo session was even more fun, as you bought in the props! You continue to amaze me with your talents and I can’t wait to see the pictures from our next session.

There are no words to describe how amazing Katie is. She has been apart of my families life since my engagement session. She was there for our wedding, took my Maternity pictures, photographed my daughter at 2 weeks old, 1 year, 2 years and currently planning on her third birthday pictures this summer. The joy Katie brings to each session is beyond anything I could ever ask for. She truly loves doing what she does and it shows. I can’t get enough of her work and lucky for me, I get to look at it everyday on my walls. She captures all the right moments (even when my 1 year old was screaming). She is dedicated to her work, her clients and becomes apart of your family as if you have known her for years! Thank you Katie so many wonderful memories captured by you!

When we first met Katie we were engaged and just beginning the early stages of wedding planning. She was also in the early stages of her photography career in Maine. I was, like most brides, stressing about finding the perfect photographer, and since we were having a destination wedding in Portland (we are from New York), I couldn’t rely on friends to give their testimonies. We met her at Starbucks and before we got through looking at the first album I knew that we were hiring her. Not just for art, but her personality shines, and she can make anyone smile. This was 2006, fast forward to today, we are happily 5 years into marriage, with 2 beautiful children. Katie has become in my eyes, an amazing photographer (and she was fantastic when we met her). This past fall we asked Katie to shoot a family session for us in the same spot we were married 5 years prior. Not only were the pictures incredible, it was very nostalgic for us, and great to share that special place with our kids. Katie, thank you again from the bottom of our hearts for continuing on this journey with us. Cheers to many more great sessions with you and our family!
